The Patchwork Spirit Kantha Coat is made from assorted 100% cotton panels, brought together with visible rows of traditional Kantha running stitches. Every section has its own combination of florals, geometric shapes, stripes and bold contrasting colours.
The relaxed, open-front design has long sleeves, two useful front pockets and a removable fabric tie, giving you the choice of wearing it loose and flowing or gently drawn in at the waist.
This is the exact coat you will receive. Its particular arrangement of colours and patterns will never be repeated, making it a completely individual piece.
The soft grey interior is the reverse Kantha layer rather than a separate lining.
Please expect a deliberately rustic handmade finish. Loose threads, irregular stitching, uneven edges and small imperfections may be visible throughout. These are part of the coat’s relaxed patchwork character, and it will not have the precise finish of a tailored coat.
Recommended for approximately UK sizes 12–16 and a smaller UK 18. It will look roomier on sizes 12–14 and sit closer when tied on sizes 16–18.
